Alkaline CIP HS40 is a non-foaming caustic liquid detergent, designed to remove organic dirt of all kinds and avoid redeposition and fouling.

Indicated for CIP type cleaning and cleaning in industrial washing machines. Suitable for cleaning all common surfaces in food processing industries. It is very effective in cleaning pipes, fillers, pasteurizers, storage tanks, evaporators, etc.
It can be used in both soft and hard water. Suitable for automatic dosing by controlling the concentration through the conductivity of the dilution.
Compatible with most stainless steels and with plastic materials resistant to strong alkaline solutions. Do not use with metals that are not resistant to strong alkaline solutions such as aluminum, brass, copper, etc.

Aspect: Gel
Colour: Caramel
Density at 20ºC: 1,48 g/cc
pH: 13
Solubility: Fully soluble in water
Dosis: 0,3% – 4%

CIP: A dilution of the product between 0.3% and 4% must be recirculated, depending on the degree of soiling present. If used in hard water, dose from 1% to 4%. Always rinse after use.
Automatic washing machines: Dose at a dilution between 0.3% and 4% depending on the dirt present. If used in hard water, dose from 1% to 4%. Always rinse after use.

See the Product Safety Sheet.
The Raw Materials used comply with the criteria of Sustainable Development promoted by the “Charter Project for Sustainability”.
The surfactants contained in this preparation meet the biodegradability criteria stipulated in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.

Tritation
Reagents: 0.1 N Hydrochloric Acid, phenolphthalein indicator.
Procedure:
1. Take a 5 ml sample of solution to be tested. Add two drops of indicator. 2. Titrate with 0.1 N Hydrochloric Acid until the pink color disappears.

Calculations:
% p / p product = spent titration solution (ml) x 0.2 % v / v product = spent titration solution (ml) x 0.14
